3788 Scale Probr Logistics Base MGL

The Omega Octant is east of the Alpha Octant empires seen in the Star Fleet Universe (beyond the Inter-Stellar Concordium), on the other side of a galactic void. That void is a dead zone where life is impossible and ships fall apart, marking a separation between Octants.  The Probr are a species of salamander-like amphibians that were the product of a genetic engineering experiment by another species known only as THEM. The Probr revolted, killing all of THEM. The Probr Revolution stayed out of the First Great War, but joined the fray during the Maesron Collapse to become one of the Four Superpowers. Probr ships are built from a combination of one of more of the "basic hulls" and various wings are added on. The ships are armed with quantum phasers, plasma-like HEAT torpedoes, and target accentuators.

As with other Omega Octant empires, the Probr Revolution constructed several of these small bases to be placed across their space, which could be relocated if necessary. Leaning upon the same distributed construction techniques used for their warships, the Probr designed a central section which could be carried via a tug, along with a set of four outer segments which could be delivered via tug or freighter. These outer segments appeared in a variety of types; this miniature provides a common configuration in which each segment is equipped with a pair of quantum phaser-2s and a single quantum phaser-3. This base type could be commonly found throughout Probr-held territory.

This base is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
