3788 Scale Hydran Saracen Frigate Leader CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

This is the pre-hellbore version of the Crusader frigate leader. Production of Saracens began in two years after the Fourth Lyran-Hydran War, was reduced when Crusaders appeared, and ended before the General War. Some Saracens remained in service, and at least one was still in the Old Colonies Squadron when the General War began. More were built later in the war due to shortages of hellbores. Known names include 000-Blasphemer, 001-Infidel, and 002-Heretic.

This ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
