Product Description
Original length: 192.5mm (Based on the size of the original Centaur Type)
Scale: 1/1000
Alternate scale: Approx. 1/1800 at 350m
Mounting hole: None
Cost reduction: For Versatile and PA12 materials, the model is made
hollow with 2mm wall thickness. 2 large escape holes in the saucer. There are two parts connected with the ship on a small sprue to close those holes. They need to be removed and glued in. Some sanding and fitting might be required. The version for Tan and Clear Ultra Fine Detail Plastic is solid (wouldn't be cheaper hollow).

The original Centaur Type model was a kitbash made with parts from an Excelsior and a Miranda Class model kit. Because both kits had different scales, the Miranda parts are larger compared to the ones from the Excelsior kit. The model was meant to be only 210m long, based on the size of the Miranda bridge and the torpedo pod, by its creator Adam Buckner. The "DS9 Technical Manual" however, erroneously listed it as being 381.87m long, based on the Excelsior parts. This refit model appears in the video game "Star Trek: Resurgence" as the main ship (USS Resolute NCC-92317) . They took the model and altered it only slightly to make it a convincing upgrade of the original model, that was never meant to be looked at too closely. In my opinion, this is a much better attempt, that makes it believable that this is in fact just an upgrade of the original model, unlike some other "refits" we just saw recently in live action Star Trek. Unfortunately, the designers seemed to have used the larger (and in my opinion wrong) length of 381.87m for the original ship, which would make this ship about 350m in length (due to the shorter nacelles). When scaled down to the 210m of the original Centaur, this ship is only 192.5m in length. Like with the original ship, i list it with this size and also give an alternate scale for the larger figure.
