3788 Scale Hydran Mohawk-V Medium Carrier CVN

The Hydrans are an unusual species that live on the far side of the Klingon Empire, along the edge of the galaxy. They are enemies of the Klingons and Lyrans, and were conquered by those empires at one point, only to drive the invaders out decades later. Hydrans breathe methane and live on cold type-S gas giants on silicate continents floating on liquid methane oceans.

Intended as a new fleet carrier, the Mohawk-V was a new heavy cruiser frame. Some were built as new construction but most were converted from existing Cossack war cruiser carriers. The ridgeback structure was built ahead of time and added to an existing ship in just a few weeks. The Mohawk-V retained the same fighter group (18 Stingers) as the Cossack, but with more mass it was more survivable when participating in a fleet battle.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
