Product Description
As rumors of war came closer to the Confederation, the Admiralty looked for ways to improve the firepower of the Arleigh class Frigates. A “roll bar”, or to use the official term “combat oriented mission pod” was added to some of the later Arleigh class Frigates, resulting in what was known in some circles as an Assault Frigate. Additional power, targeting sensors, and heavy weight energy torpedo launchers were added in this way, serving as an important stop gap in capabilities until the later introduction of the Burke class.
