3125 Scale Klingon E6 Battle Escort WEM

In an effort to get further use out of the surviving E4 light frigates, the Klingons modified several of the last E4s to be built for the Deep Space Fleet into this heavier design. It included upgrading the boom phasers to phaser-1s as well as an increase in the range of the disruptors and somewhat stronger shielding. The increased power of the third engine made the ship capable of a stronger attack at better speeds, but the small size of the hull still made the ships unable to survive in heavy fleet combat. The ships were generally assigned to patrol duties where they were more likely to survive single-ship duels. As with most Klingon ships, the boom can be separated as a lifeboat, but the booms of E6s are incapable of independent operation. The boom is not capable of movement but simply serves as a very large escape pod in which the crew can await rescue. The only known name is Korgal.

This ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
