Dress the situation up a bit by having this not-bad-looking holster and cable hanger instead!
I printed mine in white and it almost disappears against the white stucco section of the wall it's installed on... wife is happier too.

Mounts easily with two screws, which are hidden when holding the charger. Built specifically to accomodate j1772 charger (compatible with most US-market electric vehicles, including: Chevy Volt, Chevy Bolt, Toyota Prius Plugin, Fiat 500e, All Ford EVs, Audi E-Trons and BMW i3 and i8 models.
