Polish Wilk XC-8 Tank Destroyer
The Wilk (wolf) is a new Polish fire support vehicle. It is based on a Rosomak, a Polish Army license produced version of the Patria AMV armored personnel carrier. The Wilk is fitted with a CT-CV 105HP turret. It has significant direct fire capability. Due to its weight the Wilk fire support vehicle is more strategically and tactically mobile comparing with main battle tanks.Recently Poland developed a whole host of combat vehicles, based on their Rosomak. The Wilk fire support vehicle is one of them. It seems that Poland fields rapid deployment brigades with Rosomak 8x8 heavily armored APCs in the same manner as US Army fields Stryker Brigade Combat Teams. Each rapid deployment brigade has 8x8 armored vehicles of various variants. Operational concept behind these brigades is stressed on speed, deployability and maneuverability to counter enemy forces. The Wilk will give the Rosomak equipped brigades the needed fire support.

However it is unknown if the Wilk will enter service with the Polish Army. Or if the Polish MoD has a requirement for a wheeled fire support vehicle at all.

The XC-8 has a lightweight turret. This artillery system was first publicly demonstrated in 2014. Design of the XC-8 turret is based on the CT-CV 105HP. It is also armed with a 105-mm gun. This turret can be fitted with add-on armor for protection up to 14.5-mm armor-piercing rounds.

Cleaning Information
Some part cleanup will be necessary. The 3D printing process uses a waxy substance to support certain part features during the printing process. Although the parts are cleaned by Shapeways, some waxy residue may remain.  It can be safely removed with water and a mild aqueous detergent like "Simple Green" using an old, soft toothbrush, Q-tips or pipe cleaners. During the printing process, liquid resin is cured by ultraviolet light. Microscopic bits of resin may remain uncured.

Let your parts sit in direct sunlight for a few hours to fully cure the resin.
Water-based acrylic paints meant for plastics is strongly recommended. Other paints, especially enamels, may not cure on Frosted Detail 3D-printed plastics.
Use dedicated model sprue cutters to remove parts to minimise the risk of damage to parts.
