A unique d4 die design.
This playful design has a fresh look, rolls better than the regular tetrahedron, has a result that is easily readable from above, and is made of very little material making it light to carry and cheap to 3D print.
The
convex envelope of this die is the isohedral shape:
isosceles tetrahedron. The numbers have been engraved at different depths to keep the die balanced by removing the same amount of material from each face.
The "variants" (select from drop-down menu above) are determined by size (i.e. amount of material in their printed designs) thussly:
The "extra small" version is squared off on all sides.
The "small" version is rounded at the edges.
The "medium" version comes to a triangular point at the edges.
This "large" version is rounded at the edges and along the sides (creating a sort of reverse sphericon dual shape).
Please note that these are only slight differences in size used to denote the different shapes available (all of these dice are about 1cm by 2cm and size differences would not be detectable by the human eye).
