1:32 Jetty Truck

This model is a close approximation of the standard 3'6" gauge Jetty Truck used by the South Australian Harbour Board on most jetty tramways in South Australia. Its details are an amalgam of the original S.A.H.B. drawings and photos of preserved trucks. The design includes four appropriate wheels which should be mounted on a 1.5mm diameter axle with a 3/32" (2.5mm) diameter tube as an axle spacer. Sections of music wire or brass wire should be used to retain the axles in the axle boxes (the prototype used bolts or pins).
