Product Description
Please read my article in aeromodeller No 929, September/October 2014.
This one is for the ED Racer with an original ED RC needle valve assembly. But I think it will take a whole range of NVA´s. The barrel can be adapted by shortening. The rotating valve is for normal CCW operation. The fuelmixture enters the crankcase through a slot between rotor and backplate. Chamfer the edge of the slot to minimize resistence. Centrifugal force does the rest. If you want a valve that can do both CW and CCW, contact me. Tip: when mating the backplate with the engine insert the rotor first. For finishing use a tube of fresh thin (and cheap) cyano. Store it in the fridge and apply it cold in two stages. In the second stage you apply it where your fingers were in the first stage. Don´t let it block any of the holes. Hardened cyano is much harder than the printmaterial causing the drill to deflect and the hole is no longer true. I have no experience with the processed plastics but I don't think they need the cyano treatment. Colour might not be aether resistent. Disclaimer: I do not make money at all from these designs. I have a job, not a business. 100% of your pay goes to shapeways. I get nothing. You may buy these designs and use them at your own risk. I have put plenty of time and effort in these designs but I still may have it wrong. If you need just one part you can contact me and I'll make it available. Please, be so kind to share your experiences.
august2019: I connected the 3 parts together; Due to shapeways pricing policy this is way cheaper.
You can cut them loose after printing.
