The Ryft is hands down the best available mass produced bouncer platform. But... It sits a bit high for my driving style. Getting lower gets tricky with all the bracing in the front.
So I started hacking away what interfered with links, servo, etc to allow almost full compression on 110MM Shocks up front. Side to side gets full compression but both at the same time has the chassis hitting the axle, as low as it'll go.
Once all the cutting was done the front of the chassis was floppy. To fix the flop I braced the shock towers to the battery tray and then to the chassis. Much more rigid.
THIS IS NOT MEANT AS A DROP IN REPLACEMENT. YOULL NEED TO CUT PARTS OF YOUR CHASSIS TO INSTALL. Meant for Experienced builders.
You'll need longer screws for the body posts, to cut part of your battery tray, part of your chassis, etc. But once done you'll be low and stiff.
Multijet fusion with Glass Bead or Mineral Infused Versatile should be the most impact resistant but standard versatile plastic should hold up about as well as the stock pieces.
