This wagon is used rarely nowadays. It is very versatile, so it can carry almost any cargo (arbitrarily shaped pieces of wood, metal plates, concrete panels, castings and much more) and is often used to transport military vehicles of any kind.

Model

This set contains everything you need to build a complete Smmps wagon - the Smmps wagon itself, two Y25 type chassis, four buffers, 5 frontal and 19 side stanchions (including one extra of each type) and optional accessories. Also, you will need two M3 hexagonal nuts (1.4mm height), two M3 screws and four wheelsets of diameter 7.5mm, 7.7mm or 7.8mm with axis 18.5mm long with tip on both ends.

Details on assembling Y25 type chassis can be found here. Use super glue to attach both M3 nuts into hexagonal bores on the bottom of the wagon frame and mount both Y25 type chassis using two M3 screws.

Optionally, you can add nine stanchions on both sides and two stanchions on both ends of the wagon. There are holes and bores ready for this. This is, however, recommended only for experienced modelers, since the stanchions are quite tiny and are extremely brittle.
