Real Steel Trident 2 Winged

Real Steel trident for SCUBA self defense.  Alpha And Omega Industries!

Has a set of small hydrofoils on the neck, which serve as extra parrying, trapping, and striking surfaces as well as possibly serving to help steer you mildly through the water. They are modeled on winged spears from Europe.
These are an experimental trident feature.

Plain and hydrodynamically neutral versions of this exact trident head are available in my shop. Trident 1 and Trident 3.

The same as an historical Viking spear the pole is fitted to match the inner cone in the socket and is then Jammed in tight. Drill through the hole which is already in the trident head and pin the head on with a single rivet, nail, or pin which goes all the way through the shaft. Do not use a screw or bolt, as that will cut the wood and weaken the product. Use a nail or smooth rod.

The hole for this pin is 3/16 inch diameter, a commonly available hardware size.

Do not use a screw. Screws will cut into the shaft and the head, it weakens the item.
Use a 3/16 nail and hammer it through, and then on both sides like a rivet.
3/16 inch rivets can be used.
