Product Description
This was the new police cutter design produced just before the General War; over two hundred were built. The Callaghan-class (angled engine struts) is operationally identical to the Masterson-class (straight engine struts). Police ships actually spent more time in space than warships, and were always busy enforcing the law, rescuing people from disasters great and small, collecting taxes, and fighting pirates. Police ships were not simply small frigates, but included many systems needed for their civilian duties.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
