The
Rumpler C.VII was a
Rumpler C.IV with a high-compression Maybach Mb.IVa engine, which gave it excellent performance at high altitude. Minor changes were made to the wing, reducing the wingspan slightly and increasing the chord. The C.VII excelled at high-altitude reconnaissance, where enemy fighters could rarely keep up with its speed. The Rumpler C.VI, later renamed the "Rubild Mb", was substantially the same.
This model comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales.
In 1:285, two aeroplanes are included, connected by disposable links. In Detail Plastic, those also have detachable translucent propeller disks, which you can use or discard, as you like.
