Product Description
This is a set of parts for Sideswipe to create a rear spoiler. 2 mounting adapters plug into the back of Sideswipe's car mode, creating two 5mm mounting ports. 2 Spoiler halves plug into the adapters to create the finished look. The Spoiler halves can be removed and weapons can be installed into the 5mm poirts for a weaponized vehicle mode. The Spoiler halves can be mounted on the sides of the car. These parts work with both Car mode and Robot mode. This design is compatible with Seige Sideswipe and other Transformers using the same mold; Netflix Sideswipe, Seige Red Alert, and Generations Selects Tigertrack, Generations Selects Deep Cover, etc
This is sold as a set of 4 pieces connected together. You will need to cut them to separate them and trim off the excess plastic.
This is intended for adult figure collectors. This is not designed for rough play by children.
This was printed and tested on my home 3D printer with PLA plastic. Depending on the plastic you choose, sanding or polish may be needed to fine tune the fit.
This has been sucessfully printed in Shapeways PA12, Shapeways Processed Versatile Plastic, Natural Versatile Plastic, Premium Versatile Plastic, Smooth Fine Detail Plastic, and Smoothest Fine Detail Plastic.
Update:
Design has been adjusted to reenforce thin areas to be stronger. Adjusted spoiler angle to better match the car mode. Wing design contoured slightly.
