Product Description
Now here is something a little different. It is a jackal-headed feather of ma'at! Although not a pre-existing ancient Egyptian design that I am aware of, it is an informed combination of two which are (and something in a similar vein can be seen at Karnak. cf. OIP25, pl.57): the well-known feather of ma'at and the more obscure symbol of a jackal-headed staff known as an wsr.t. The jackal deities of ancient Egypt have close associations with ma'at as well, so this design is on point in that regard too.
