When the New Haven Railroad rebuilt their Alco DL-109 locomotives winterization hatches were installed to cover the roof fans. The Proto 1000 DL-109 has the roof fans, but no hatches.
This is the latest version of the winterization hatches. Unlike the original version they do not require the removal of the fans. The hatch louvers are now see-through so the fans are visible through the hatches.
You will receive one pair of hatches. Enough for one DL-109 locomotive.
