Product Description
This model of the "eyes of the Fleet" is available in either 1:1250 or 1:1200 scale. Please check your choices of scale and material in the top right of this page.

The K Class were the most numerous of the US Navy's patrol airships and were used during  World War 2 as convoy escorts and anti-submarine spotters. K Ships were the first non-rigid airships to cross the Atlantic when the 14th Squadron were ordered to French Morocco to take up anti-submarine duties across the Straits of Gibralter. A total of 135 K Ships were built. 


In 1:1250 scale the model is 61.5mm long. in 1:1200 it is 64.1mm.
There is a 2mm diameter hole for a mounting rod to the rear of the  control car.
