Aquila Chrono Single Bolt Varia Mount

Size specific Garmin Varia mount for the Aquila Chrono TT/Triathlon bicycle. A single 5 mm nut and bolt secures the mount to the seat post. Unique eighth-turn Garmin mount is 100% Garmin quarter-turn mount compatible but also allow for mounting a device in either landscape or portrait orientations.

Required Hardware (not included):

• 1 - M:5 x 20 mm socket head cap screw
• 1 - M:5 nylon insert lock nut

Mounting instructions:

1. Mark the height of your seat post and remove it from the frame.
2. Install the mount by inserting from the bottom of the post and sliding it up.
3. Reinstall the seat post
4. Move the Varia mount to the desired location and insert an M:5 x 20 mm socket head cap screw and an M:5 (5 mm) nylon insert lock nut in the recesses on both sides of the mount.
5. Tighten the screw, please do not torque it down tight, it only needs to be as tight as necessary to hold it in place.
6. Mount the Varia and RIDE!

Alternate Mounting Instructions:

1. Carefully expand the mount from the device mounting side and slide over the seat post
2. Insert an M:5 x 20 mm socket head cap screw and an M:5 nylon insert lock nut
3. Tighten until snug, do not overtighten!

Note: Please do not try to test fit your device before attaching your mount to your bicycle, it is a tight fit and may not fully seat or be removed as there is not enough leverage without mounting it in it's proper location.
