** We've updated the model to have a little more room to slip over the axle truss and spaced the servo mount holes 1mm farther apart**
This piece slips over the truss and secures with 4 x M3 screws and nuts through the truss. Servo will need nuts on the back of the screws to secure.
It'll be tough to keep the behind the axle steering with this but if you pull it off tag us on Facebook or Instagram, we'd love to see how. @1tenthscale
Offered here in metal to add some good unsprung weight down low and for excellent durability. Same basic design as the Nylon version but has some materials removed to save some money. Shapeways is proud of their metal prints but if you compare to the cost of some brass pieces it's not too bad. Weighs right around 31g.
Shapeways states a +/- 5% tolerance so some minor sanding may be necessary. We've done a lot of metal parts and shapeways usually nails the dimensions. The 20 day lead time is usually about 2x what it takes. In all of our orders we've only had one take longer than 10 days from order to ship.
