This winder is designed to work with the knob (with filament retaining pin) on the terraPin OSKAR LochKameras:

This winder doohickey is vastly stronger (and more precise) than the FDM winder design included in the Thing files for the OSKAR pinhole cameras on Thingiverse. The hex shape transmits the torque of winding the knob, and the retaining pin keeps the assembly together. I use an approximately 1-inch (25mm) length of 3mm filament as a pin.
Due to thin walls around the retaining pin hole, this is considered unprintable in metals.
