3125 Scale Klingon E4S Scout WEM

Scouts in the Star Fleet Universe do not range ahead of the fleets, but stay with the other ships and use their powerful sensors to scan far out into space. Before the General War, scouts had only been used to find distant targets and warn the fleet of the approach of enemy forces. They generally withdrew to a safe distance when actual combat was imminent. That being the case, any small warship (able to keep pace with the fleet) would do well enough for a scout, and the E4S was the dominant scout for Klingon fleet from the time of the restoration of the Hydran Kingdom until the Four Powers War, when Kzinti and Hydran raiders made a living picking them off. Despite the appearance of the larger F5S scout, many E4S scouts were still in service when the General War began and scouts were forced to appear in the combat zone to provide jamming, counter-jamming, target analysis, and seeing weapons control. Known names at the start of the General War include Dauntless, Deceiver, Scorn, Hate, and Despite, along with several others.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
