3125 Scale Fed Classic Heavy Drone Cruiser WEM

The heavy cruiser Agincourt was badly damaged in one of the first battles of the Klingon invasion; its photon bank was entirely destroyed. Due to the demand for photon tubes by new construction, it would take too long to repair the ship. Rather than see an otherwise operable ship left in spacedock, the Federation refitted it with six drone racks replacing the four photons and added special sensors. Four of the drone racks replaced the photons in the front; two were placed where secondary machinery had been destroyed in the battle with the Klingons. Drone storage and drone control channels were increased. It served as the Federation’s only heavy drone cruiser. An ambush by Klingon gunboats during the middle of the General War resulted in the separation of the saucer, which was recovered. By the following year, the ship was back in operation with a new secondary hull. The fans asked for this smooth-saucer version as a classic look and for ease of adding decals.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
