Here's something that has been sorely needed. The actual 5-Panel Panoramic Rearview Mirror that the Ecto-1 actually has instead of what they gave us and will
replace parts 79A & 79B (why they made it 2 parts I'll never know!). You can use the provided reflective stickers that came with the kit (however one of them will need to be cut across the mid cut line so it'll be two parts)...
OR... use some aluminum foil and glue them into the indented areas...
OR... just paint them... it's up to you. There are virtually hundreds of different ways to make the mirror parts that are really cheap an inexpensive. I'm sure the forums will have suggestions from members for awhile. The
mirror sections that need to be cut are exactly 22.387mm x 7.488mm so the choice is yours. You should be able to use the provided hardware (screws and brackets) to fit this into place but glueing is always an option. One thing about screwing into resin is that it's very brittle and I've found that screwing into a resin hole tends to create alot of tension and it will crack. If that happens, there's always superglue! I've also included that this can be pre-printed in Black Plastic so you don't have to pre-paint the mirror section first, but a warning, the black plastic tends to have a grainy feel to it, just so you know. I hope you all enjoy this one... lemme know what you think!
