Although the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Technical Manual list a length of 349.54m and Eaglemoss also used this figure for their miniature, i use the figure from
ex-astris-scientia.org. There are several reasons for this. The K't'inga model originally was basically just a more detailed model of the D7 from TOS. A necessity for the appearance on the big screen. It was supposed to be just a refit like the TMP Enterprise is supposed to be a refit of the TOS Constitution, hence the ship should be about the same size as the D7. But there were slight changes like a little shorter neck and replaced nacelles which reduced the 228m to 214m. Well personally i believe it is more like a model change on cars nowadays. Every few years a model is changed slightly to improve it. The D7 was the backbone of the Klingon fleet for years and every supply facility is build specifically for a ship of this shape and size. Think about space docks for building and repairing them. They would have become obsolete if the ship would suddenly be 1.5 times bigger. There is a sketch on the
site about the K't'inga Class at memory alpha showing how the new bridge set fits into the command tower. Regarding the size of the Klingons in there the Bridge dome would perfectly fit to a ship around the size of something above 200m but not to a ship with 350m.
