Eaglemoss Ecto-1 - Clear Dome - Articulated

Here is the Articulated Clear Dome for the Roof Rack.  This version is for those who wish to animate their roof rack.  The Support Rod slides thru the Bracket and the Pulley Wheel gets glued to the bottom.  Make sure the Rod can spin freely after gluing the pulley on.  The Bracket is mounted on the Mounting Plate on the rear of the Rack Cage just behind the Large Vent.  The Dome itself can be made transparent by dipping in a clear acrylic several times and allowed to cure between layers (remember: Curing is different from drying, drying may only take an hour or two, curing can take between 24-48 hours).  There are 5 parts to this... the Clear Dome, the Arrow Base, Support Rod, Pulley Wheel and the Bracket.  The Dome is glued onto the Arrow Base and the base fits on the top of the Support Rod.  There should be enough clearance for the Arrow Base to move freely above the Large Tub Insert Vent.  The Arrow should be painted Red, the Base and Bracket should be painted Black.  The Dome should be Clear and unpainted. Once in place, a rubber band can be placed around the pulley at the bottom and fed thru the hole in the back of the tub below the mounting plate.  The whole thing can then be rotated using a small servo or motor.  You can download this file to print on your home 3D printer, but it's not to be resold or modified in any way.  Enjoy!
