Product Description
One of several extra-galactic robot ships which appeared over time in this galaxy, it seems to be a leftover doomsday weapon from a war fought thousands of years ago between empires no one remembers. The Death Probe is a starship bristling with weapons and driven by its programming to seek out and destroy industrial planets. Because of the special hull coating, it cannot be towed by tractor beam or boarded by Marines. Incredibly maneuverable, it can make repeated high-energy turns. The Death Probe can detect and sweep mines better than anything in this galaxy and has an electronic warfare (jamming, counter-jamming) suite superior to any warship.
The largest-sized Death Probe (4”) carries two heavy phasers, six standard phasers, two Gatling phasers, six photon torpedoes, and two drone launch systems with unlimited ammunition. It can absorb and self-repair damage equivalent to two dreadnoughts.
The medium-sized Death Probe (3”) carries two heavy phasers, four standard phasers, two Gatling phasers, four photon torpedoes, and two drone launch systems with unlimited ammunition. It can absorb and self-repair damage equivalent to three heavy cruisers.
The smallest-sized Death Probe (2”) carries one heavy phaser, two standard phasers, one Gatling phaser, two photon torpedoes, and one drone launch system with unlimited ammunition. It can absorb and self-repair damage equivalent to a dreadnought.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
