The engineer: Two nested wireframes with a cubical symmetry, the inner one with edges twisted by 90 degrees, the outer one with six large cavities—large enough to fully recognise the inner model yet small enough not to let that latter one escape. 

The nerd: A polytope arising from a hyperbolic tessellation (via some matrix group associated to the invariant d=66), inside a second polytope arising from the same procedure (this time for d=3817).
