Product Description
The Federation commissioned designs for several new fighters as the General War began. The F-15 and F-16 went to the ground defense forces, while the F-18 and F-14 went to the Navy¹s carriers. The F-12, which might have been seen as a competitor to any of those, was not selected. The contractor who developed it offered it to the Gorns, who bought the entire assembly line and produced it as the G-12. Had the Federation taken the F-12 into service, this miniature shows the probable first version of it, with two anti-ship drones and two dogfight drones. Ironically, the broad wings of the F-12 would have allowed it to be continually upgraded, easily beyond the F-18 and perhaps equal to the very large F-14 fighter.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
