The Hoover Class from "Star Trek: Discovery" is an interesting design. Maybe some sort of carrier, with those two large shuttle bay doors on each side above the saucer. My only problem with it is the sensor dome on the saucer underside. On the original Enterprise it is called a "planetary sensor" and so i needs to "see" downwards, but here it is partly blocked by the deflector dish and its spikes/antennas. There are also 4 pairs of phaser emitters around that dome. At least the rear ones are to no use, unless they are there to fire at the own hull.
