The Morane-Saulnier Type H was a somewhat smaller, single-seat version of the
Type G, with an 80hp 9-cylinder Le Rhône engine. A couple dozen were built for
Aviation Militaire, and another 24 were built by Grahame-White for Britain. While their non-trainer service lifetime was brief, they did serve in small numbers in several units until they could be replaced with better models. They were also license-built by Germany and served as the basis of the Pfalz monoplanes.
This product comes in both 1:144 and 1:285/6mm/1:288 scales. The 1:144 scale has a single aeroplane.
The 1:285 product comes with three aeroplanes, each with a removable propeller disk rather than propeller blades. They are joined by sprues to keep the cost down. You will have to carefully remove the sprues with snippers or nail cutters.
DESIGNER NOTE:
Models at scales smaller than 1:144 may no longer be available. Shapeways discontinued the material for which they were designed, and the newer materials require that each and every model be adjusted to thicken surfaces like wings. If you are interested in a particular model in a small scale, please let me know and I will prioritize it higher in the queue.
