Product Description
The first of three components for your Keck Telescope Scale Model. On the Keck Telescope SCI Kit (http://spacecraftkits.com/Keck.html), it replaces nine of the laset-cut paper components, and fits perfectly with the rest of the model. Scale is 1:170.
Before joining this Keck Upper piece to the Keck Lower piece, be sure to install the segmented primary mirror (available as part of the laset-cut paper kit from www.spacecraftkits.com). The mirrir goes into the Keck Lower piece. Also before joining the pieces, the serious modeller may decide to paint or install a reflective surface to represent the Secondary Mirror, although it will be completely out of view when the model is completed.
For the whole 3D-printed Keck model, order this Keck Upper, plus one Keck Lower, plus one Keck Pier. Also obtain the foil-printed, laser-cut Primary Mirror piece from www.spacecraftkits.com.
