285 Scale General Ground Cargo Trucks MGL

This is the standard cargo truck for the Star Fleet Universe. While every empire builds their own designs (and most of them build several different designs) form follows function and they can all be represented by a single miniature. Trucks are actually the most numerous cargo vehicles, because spaceships and their transporter systems are not always available (in fact, they are rarely available) and the frontline forces need food, fuel, ammunition, spare parts, replacement personnel, and all manner of other things. On most planets, railroads are not available and watergoing ships are rarely able to access the frontline combat units, so convoys of trucks are used to delivery the thousand and one things every frontline mechanized battalion needs. Even more important, many “infantry” units are issued trucks from operational-level mobility (just one hill or ridge away from enemy frontline units and their dangerous weapons).

The sprue of vehicles is available in a variety of materials. Vehicles are unpainted and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
