Carrying 16 Gladiator fighters (eight anti-ship, eight counter-fighter), the SparrowHawk-B replaced the aging WarHawk light carriers and provided new flexibility for fighter squadrons. It became the standard Romulan carrier of the General War. The SparrowHawk-B+ was produced during the late war period in the shipyards of a different Great House than the original, accounting for the visual difference. Known names include Relentless and Intrepid.
The ship is available in a variety of materials. (Smooth Fine Detail Plastic makes an excellent cloaked ship!) Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
