Only 6 DDS were ever produced!
This DDS model will allow you to to display the DDS open if you wanted. Goes perfect with my SEAL Delivery Vehicle Mk 8 (2 or 4)!
I've updated the model AGAIN! I've redesigned the hinge so that now you can open and close the DDS shelter. This will require a .4 mm plastic rod such as Plastruct sells to act as the hinge. I did carefully open up the holes in the hinge on the DDS side to .5 mm. However, I left the door hinge holes as printed as they were more prone to braking when I was opening them up. Slide the plastic rod through the door hinge and alinge both sides of the hinge while you do it. It's a bit like threading a needle and is a little tricky. I then carefully put a very small blob of thick superglue on the top (thick CA so there's less chance of it wicking and locking everything up), and, after that sets, viola, working hinge!
