Nut was once a NAIL practical joker with a screw loose, but his fellow NAILs were so annoyed with him they forged his application to the Autobot forces just to get rid of him. Now part of the Autobot Build Force, he spends as much time secretly welding Autobot feet to the floor panels as he does assisting Grapple build his Masterpieces. He never plays a joke on Grapple, because he know as long as he is useful to the architect he will be protected from the wrath of annoyed allies.

Bolt was a cowardly Micromaster who thought getting reformatted into a weapon might help build his confidence. While he would rather be a powerful Plasma Cannon, he was given the form of a Magnetic Clamp and assigned to the Autobot Build Force assisting Hoist. While he cannot blow up Decepticons, he can manage to magnetize them to each other for brief periods, rendering them mostly harmless in combat.
