1/1000th Scale Discoprise Replacement Bridge

A replacement bridge for the 1/1000th Star Trek: Discovery Enterprise model from Polar LIghts. Simply chisel or sand off the raised details atop the bridge dome of the Enterprise kit's upper saucer piece and install this replacement. The idea is that this replacement part will give the "Discoprise" more of a Star Trek Refit Enterprise look.

If you wish to light your model, you can mask the upper rings of the bridge dome by masking, and then cutting your masking tape using the concentric rings printed there as blade guides. The fine detail plastics are at least partically translucent so you should be able to get decent light transfer that way (I hope!). 

Carefully clean the new bridge befire installation using something gentle like warm water, dish soap, and an old toothbrush. Superglue or similar CA glue types usually work well for this type of printed part.
