Contains:
5x Leopard 2AX Main battle tankThe Leopard 2AX is a main battle tank that boasts penetration power far superior to its predecessor the Leopard 2, thanks to its 140mm smoothbore cannon. The new cannon prompted the addition of counterweights on the rear of the vehicle, which negated the weight but resulted in more difficult handling.
5x Leopard 2A6 Main battle tank
The German-built Leopard 2A6 main battle tank is a dramatic improvement on the vehicle's predecessor, the Leopard 2A5. The first 2A6 was delivered 2001, and many of the German army's 2A5 units are in the process of being upgraded to the 2A6 configuration. With improved armor protection, better accuracy, and longer range, the 2A6 is popular with a number of operators around the world.
Cleaning Information
Some part cleanup will be necessary. The 3D printing process uses a waxy substance to support certain part features during the printing process. Although the parts are cleaned by Shapeways, some waxy residue may remain. It can be safely removed with water and a mild aqueous detergent like "Simple Green" using an old, soft toothbrush, Q-tips or pipe cleaners. During the printing process, liquid resin is cured by ultraviolet light. Microscopic bits of resin may remain uncured.
Let your parts sit in direct sunlight for a few hours to fully cure the resin.
Water-based acrylic paints meant for plastics is strongly recommended. Other paints, especially enamels, may not cure on Frosted Detail 3D-printed plastics.
Use dedicated model sprue cutters to remove parts to minimise the risk of damage to parts.
