This model features:
This model should only be used when building a Transload Facility. When building your Transload Warehouse be sure to use only walls that are listed in this category to ensure proper fitment.
Transload Facilities are used by trucking companies or alike industries as a distribution hub where freight comes in, is sorted, and then sent back out either by truck or rail to a destination terminal or for delivery to its final destination. You may choose to install dock doors or leave them open and detail inside the building as well as the outside loading dock floor with freight, forklifts, dock workers, etc…
The Walls are only 1mm in order to keep costs down. Each wall has a pre-molded base that can be used to glue to your layout base. Base measures 10mm wide and are 1mm thick. I have added additional supports that run vertically and horizontally along the backside of the walls where the expansion joints are molded/recessed to help keep the models from warping or bending. On both sides of the wall are half expansion joints so when another wall is joined in parallel, the expansion joint will be the same as the others. The topmost back support should be used as the brace/guide for a roof to be glued in place. Extra Roof Support may be required depending on how large of warehouse you choose to create! I would suggest using a thin piece of styrene as an added support when butting two wall sections and joining them to each other.
