Product Description
Bullnose corrugated iron sheets were/are used for verandah roofing. Using the usual modelling methods and materials this is a particularly hard thing to make for a model building.
The profile of the corrugations has been taken from the 1963 Lysaght Referee 22nd Edition book.
This is a sprue of 30 - 10 foot sheets of Bullnose Corrugated Iron with a width of 8 corrugations.
The model sheets are 2 feet 2 1/2 inches wide for a prototype 1 1/2 corrugation overlap.
The model sheets are designed to be butted up against each other the overlap being shown by the join between the sheets.
The actual prototype sheets have 9 corrugations which leave 8 showing after overlap.
Corrugated Iron came in 1-foot increments from 5-foot to 12-foot lengths. I have chosen a 10-foot length but other lengths can be produced if there is a need.
