3125 Scale Andromedan Krait Cruiser (KRA) SRZ

Andromedans are an aggressive empire from the M31 Andromedan Galaxy. Their technology is different from that of ships in our galaxy. They use tractor-repulsor beams to rip enemy ships apart, displacement devices to teleport their own ships or enemy ones, and weapons that are similar to a phaser-2. They do not use shields, but instead use power absorbers which capture the energy of enemy weapons and cycle it back into their own systems and weapons. Larger Andromedan ships (motherships) carry small frigate/destroyer sized ships internally and launch them as needed in combat.

Originally thought to be the largest of the Andromedan destroyers (hence the "snake" name), this ship was very nearly the equal of the Conquistador Light Cruiser. As the Andromedan campaign continued, the Andromedans found a need to produce more powerful ships at all levels, and one result was this ship, which was something of a slimmed down Conquistador that could be produced more quickly. Further analysis showed that the ship was something neither fish nor fowl; it was not a satellite ship that could be carried inside a mothership, but it was not a mothership either. This is the ship used as the Andromedan Tournament Cruiser.

The ship is available in a variety of materials. Ships are unpainted, use standard flight stands available from many sources, and, while designed for gaming, make fine display pieces.
