HO Retainer Valve Bulk Packs

By popular demand, K. Kadwell is pleased to now offer bulk packs of HO scale retainer valves.  The "small" size includes 20 retainer valves.  The "large" size includes 40 retainer valves.  It's never been easier to upgrade a freight car fleet to include this often-overlooked detail!

Please note that this version of our retainer valve differs slightly from the version available in our "HO Air Hose and Retainer Valve Set."  The retainer valves available in our bulk packs lack the generic mounting brackets included in our previous release, and instead include  small mounting pins on the back of each valve.  This is meant to increase flexibility in mounting positions and to enable those who wish to drill mounting holes on their cars for a sturdier connection to do so.  For those who wish to glue the valves on flat the old-fashioned way, these pins are easily removed.  See the illustration above for correct mounting orientation.

In both sizes of bulk pack, the retainer valves are all connected to a protective cage-like sprue for safe shipping.  Although the parts are small, they can, with care, be removed with little difficulty using a hobby blade.
