Alligator Relaxing (HO)
catzpaw164 Something like that is a little out of our area of expertise and best left to others.
catzpaw164 @Thedragonbuilder@Thedragonbuilder Unfortunately we don't create locomotives; there are other folks out there with better skills who make these types of items. Our specialty is creating the accessories, figures, animals, etc. that are used on layouts.

Carriage Two Seater O-Scale
catzpaw164 @cgarzich Thank you for your order and for your observation. This particular carriage was designed from a carriage used at the end of the Civil War in Cuthbert, GA. We took measurements from the original carriage (on display in a museum) and created an HO-Scale (1:87) version. The HO-Scale version was reviewed by the Historical Committee and the Local Chamber of Commerce and approved for accuracy. It now appears on display as part of a Historical Diorama in Cuthbert, GA. To create the 1:48 scale version, we scaled the 1:87 version by 181.5%. This number derived from several online scale conversion charts. To account for the discrepancy in size we can only surmise the following: 1) that the scaling factor is incorrect, 2) the Strong & Flexible material adds dimension, 3) the original carriage from which the scale model was created is larger than other carriages of its time. We hope you and others find this information beneficial.
