My Hyper-Opulence line of jewelry and images focus on the the idea that my object making inception is outside of space and time. It has no connection to historical time, but rather postmodern space to begin with, it is merely an image that proliferates via the temporal, vast virtual space. It is more opulent than the opulent due to the excess, corpulent, saturation through the proliferation of its immaterial “form” in advertising. It's corporeal substance has been rendered static in and for the immaterial design environment. In other words, it may remain in its virtual immateriality, or make the leap to its tangible, tactility. After production, the object maintains a vestige, or remnant sign of it's former environment; the exaggerated growth of a simulated stone (cancerous metastasis), which in some cases has absorbed its setting or bursts out in a corpulent fashion. After it's transformation into a material object it moves from the hyperreal into the realm of the corporeal.
