This is the ring I made for my wife and myself.
We are super happy with it.
(I guess it might also be really romantic as an engagement-ring... but make sure she (he?) does not expect a ring with a stone for that occasion ;-) )
My wife and I chose 18k gold-plated-brass as the material. Which saved us a toooon of money: it cost about 100Euro for both rings, so we are able to spend more for our plans and future). The material looks great.
But I do not know how the gold-PLATED surface will look in 10 or 20 years. So if you want to be on the save side: take the one pure gold. Much more expensive, though.
If you consider ordering one of the expensive variants: You could first try "natural Brass" for 25$. That way you can test it out first without investing much. :-)
