Panda coin - with no patterning

A cheeky token with a panda face on the front and rear end on the back.

It measures a chunky 3cm wide and 3mm thick. The edge of this coin has a motif of alternating hearts.

This coin was originally designed to use the polished grey steel process, however unfortunately the large dark recesses are too wide, and get scoured by the polishing media and lose their intensity. I have since fixed this problem by adding patterning - if you want the automatically coloured version I strongly recommend the patterned panda coin.

Nevertheless, it can still be used if you are willing to colour the dark areas yourself (or if you just don't care I suppose). I have successfully painted this coin myself using these instructions, which should give a very permanent colour. Of course there are easier solutions, which if they prove impermanant could be 'topped up' as necessary.
