Ryan FR-1 Fireball 1/144 (Without cockpit)

The Fireball was the U.S. Navy's first jet aircraft. It had a piston engine in the nose and a turbine engine in the rear of the fuselage. Only 71 were built, but orders for over a thousand were cancelled on at the end of the war. FRs might make an interesting addition to a gaming scenario in which the Pacific War lasted another year.

This model is a modification of our 1/144 Ryan FR-1 Fireball, the cockpit has been removed to allow the use of our Ryan FR-1 Fireball Cockpit kit 1/144 (separate purchase, not included with this model)
