Product Description
This is a stamp used to emboss a pattern on the tops of cookies. It has an intricate pattern on the top that I designed to (hopefully) be festive. The design holds up surprisingly well during baking. You must use flour relatively liberally on the stamp or on the dough so that it doesn't stick. I cleaned mine very well before use and between uses with a little soap and some hot water. I recommend you do the same even though everything they touch goes in the oven. I wouldn't put the stamp or the cutter in the dishwasher.
I found that gingerbread offers good results. Egg based cookies that don't rise very much are ideal. Shortbread came out pretty good but the dough isn't very cohesive, which makes it difficult. I have also included a cookie cutter to make cutting the cookies to exact size easier.
The 3D prints in the images were not done by shapeways. I did them myself.
